This adapter is used to convert devices with USA power adapters (Flat 2-pin type) to a South African standard 2-pin power adapter.

Please note that the AC/DC Power adapter or device that plugs into this adapter needs to be specified for the South African 100VAC to 250VAC power rating. If you are plugging a 110v USA Power supply or device into this converter you will damage the power supply or device since it must indicate on the power adapter or device that it supports 220 volt as well which is used in South Africa.
