DSTV Multichoice Original A3 HDPVR Remote (No Batteries Included) / IR Learning Programmable

HDPVR remote for Multichoice HDPVR decoders. Remote is Programmable / can be set to IR Learning. The remote can be manually programmed onto the decoders below which shows **NOT Supported if you have an original remote.

Compatible Decoders:

Manual IR Learning

1.) Move the Dial on Remote to A,B,C or D, each setting e.g A can be for your HDTV, B for Digital Receiver, C for other types of Decoders etc.

2.) Press Shift and hold for 3 seconds until Shift button blinks

3.) Press the Blue Button on Remote

4.) Press the button which you want to program e.g “Power Button”. Aim the original remote to this A3 remote and press the “Power Button” to learn the original remote IR onto this A3 remote. Continue to program all other buttons required.

5.) Press “Help Button” to stop the programming and save all buttons manually programmed.

Learning Codes

Alternative Programming instructions if above fails (excluding pressing Blue Button)

Step 1 (Unlock)
Select position 1 or 2 on the remote.
Press and hold down SHIFT key until the three blinks. Enter code 982.
This unlocks the position. Once the position has been unlocked you can program as before.

Step 2 (Program)
Select position A,B,C or D on the remote.
Press and hold down SHIFT key until the three blinks. Enter code xxxxx as per decoder model above
